Black Dog Ride One Dayer
Black Dog Ride One Dayer is a one day motorcycle ride, usually about 200 kilometres, held Australia wide on the same day. It is open to all types of riders and bikes (as long as they are licensed and registered). The ride aims to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention in the community, by letting people that are struggling, and their family and friends, know there is help available.
It is expected that 150 bikes and more than 170 riders will travel from throughout the region including Moree, Coonamble, Mudgee, Wellington and Nyngan to participate in this year’s ride. The Dubbo ride has raised approximately AUD25,000 for Lifeline Central West since its inception in 2014.
You can view the riders as they leave the Macquarie Inn or along the route (route to be advised).
