Motel Royal Tara
The Motel Royal Tara is located in the historic village of Binalong. Nestled among the rolling hills on the Burley Griffin Way 37 kilometres north-west of Yass and 320 kilometres south-west of Sydney.
In 1821 Hamilton Hume's exploratory party became the first known group of Europeans in this area. The old village was also home to one of Australia's best known poets Banjo Paterson. One of Australia's most notorious bushrangers, Johnny Gilbert, lies buried just outside of Binalong.
Since opening in 1986, Motel Royal Tara has provided accommodation with a quality of friendly services and facilities.
