Nestled on the flats of Meroo Creek, between rolling hills and rocky ridges, Lone Pine Homestead is the perfect self-contained rural retreat to gather the tribe and get away from it all.
Settled by white settlers in the 1850's, during the famous gold rush, the original mud and lath constructed cottage remains next to the current accommodation. There is also a working Shearing Shed and yards on site.
Located just outside Mudgee on an historic 2000 acre fine wool farm Lone Pine Homestead can comfortably accommodate up to 11 in smart digs with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Enjoy the generous sprawling rooms decorated with unique artifacts, the wide verandas perfect for curling up and reading in the hammock, many sun drenched nooks, open fire pit and ample grounds for a game of cricket or footy - all with commanding, sweeping, country views.
There’s something for everyone here, mountain biking, game of pool, fossicking, bushwalking, explore the local markets and vineyards, cook up a storm, discover the 'Bush Ranger's Cave ........ or just kick back and reconnect with loved ones.
