Leslie Cottage is a heritage sandstone residence, commanding prime position on one of Mittagong's best streets. This is the perfect base to explore the delights of the Southern Highlands, with beautiful Lake Alexandra Reserve and Mittagong's finest antique stores, galleries, pubs and restaurants only a short stroll from the cottage's red front door. Many other regional delights are within easy access by car.
Built in 1879 by stonemason Joseph Lee (who built nearby Saint Stephens Church), Leslie Cottage has been lovingly restored to combine the best of period charm with modern conveniences.
Antique furnishings reflect the ambience of a bygone era and the delightful interior is enhanced by high ceilings, large windows and polished floorboards throughout. There's a cosy front 'snug', two bathrooms (one with shower, one with claw foot tub), and a separate laundry with washer and dryer leading out to an extra 'classic dunny'.
